PS 321’s 12th Annual Food Drive for CHIPS is THIS WEEK, Feb 1-5. CHIPS, Park Slope’s community based volunteer organization, has been serving up to 200 free meals daily, providing clothing to the homeless and those in need, and securing housing to young pregnant moms and their newborns since 1972!
During the week of Feb 1-5 ONLY, please help us to replenish their food pantry by donating non-perishable items (bagged, canned and boxed: pasta, rice, split peas, lentils, beans, fruit, veggies, fish, meat, soup, sauce) to the collection bins at PS 321. No glass containers, expired or perishable goods.
If you are able to deliver sturdy boxes to the school, volunteer to help box up donations Feb 1 – 5, and/or help with loading cars/driving donations to CHIPS after Family Friday on Feb 5, please email Francesca Pope. Any amount of help or time and even just one can or box of food is greatly appreciated.
As a school community, we’ve done an amazing job collecting donations for the past 11 years. Let’s do it again in 2016!
