Students Can Apply Now for Exciting Science and STEM Enrichment Programs during 2016 Summer Break!
STEM Summer in the City is the DOE’s new FREE, five week program for children currently in grades 2- 10, running from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm, July 7 – August 11, 2016.

The STEM program for Brooklyn students will be at PS 6 in Flatbush, and will be led by DOE teachers. In addition to weekly STEM challenges, involving coding & game design, developing engineering solutions and inventing with robotics, the program also includes enrichment opportunities in the Arts, Physical Education and includes trips to NYC cultural institutions. There is also the possibility of a Minecraft pilot program, in conjunction with Microsoft’s new Minecraft portal for schools.
