Our Kid’s Club after school program is looking for parent volunteers to lead clubs. Not sure what to teach?
Think of something you’re passionate about OR think about something you want to learn more about! Classes run once a week from 2:50 – 4:05 pm and there are usually 8 or 9 class sessions. The time goes by faster than you might think!
Teaching a club potentially raises $1,000 for the PTA! How amazing?! And if you offer your time, your child can attend your club for free. Don’t be afraid to ask another parent to assist you; the more the merrier 🙂
The Fall Cycle will begin Tuesday October 15th and ends Friday December 20th. Email Courtney if you are interested. She’s happy to answer any questions you may have.
Feeling uninspired? Here are some club ideas that we’re looking for:
Basic Sign Language (This is good for someone who’s always wanted to learn! You could teach the alphabet and simple phrases)
Comic Book Making
Dr. Seuss Theme Club (Read the books and make crafts to go along with them!)
Dungeons & Dragons
Friendship Bracelet Making
Harry Potter Club (Make “potions”, learn spells, make crafts/wands, etc.)
LEGO Club (Can be structured or free play style)
Magic the Gathering card game
Pokemon Club (Kids can bring in their cards and play the actual game!)
