PS 321’s 16th Annual Food Drive for CHIPS is just around the corner! Significant cuts to SNAP benefits will go into effect in April, making this year’s drive more crucial than ever. Join us in replenishing the CHIPS food pantry by donating non-perishable items. CHIPS, Park Slope’s volunteer, community-based organization, has been serving 200 free meals/day and providing clothing to those in need since 1972! During the 1st week of February (Feb 3 – 7) ONLY, please help to replenish their food pantry by bringing or sending with your child non-perishable foods to the collection bins at PS 321.**Please take the time to check the expiration date and avoid any glass containers.** If you are able to deliver sturdy boxes (Fresh Direct size) to the school or volunteer during the drive, please click HERE or email Sarah Willcox or Kristina Williams. Any amount of time and even just one can or box of food is greatly appreciated.
