NYC Schools Accounts (How to Consent to Covid Testing)

November 30, 2020 By Deb Orr

Dear 321 Families: All students should have an activated NYC Schools Account (Mystudent.nyc) in order to access report cards, sign your child’s covid testing waiver, and receive important announcements from the DOE. These accounts are separate from the DOE email accounts (@nycstudents.net), PS321 student emails or MySchools. To activate your child’s NYC Schools Account, a parent or guardian will need an account creation code and their child’s student ID. Parent Coordinator Deb Orr is the Family Access Manager for NYCSA, and can generate the account creation code letters for families. The week of March 16 – 20, 2020, we emailed the Account Creation Codes to everyone with children in the school at that time. Emails were sent to the first parent/guardian listed on the account. Please check your (or your spouse’s) inbox before emailing to have the code resent; we sent about a thousand emails. For current Kindergarten students, letters were emailed (for all-remote families) or sent home in the red folders (for Cohort A & B) in October. New students in Grades 1-5 had their letters sent home in November. For more info on NYCSA, go HERE. Email Deb if you need assistance.
