Around the World in 80 Minutes will return on Tuesday, March 14th from 6:30-8pm. Around the World is a wonderful event during which PS 321 families from different countries plan activities to share with PS 321 students and families. Past activities have included Indian henna tattoos, Japanese fan-making, Brazilian Capoeira, Australian dot painting, Guatemalan weaving, Iranian calligraphy, Spanish Flamenco and World Cup Soccer. Children are given a “passport” when they arrive, reflecting the different countries represented at the event. Families then go room to room getting stamps as they explore the different activities. We need families to represent countries at this event by planning an activity (in the past there were about 20 activities!). If you are interested in helping plan an activity or taking the lead on organizing Around the World, please sign up HERE or contact Kealan Casey with questions.
