Diversity Committee - Celebrate the Diversity in Our Community!
This active committee creates and hosts events that explore the needs and strengths of our diverse school. We embrace and celebrate diversity through events that highlight and explore our varied cultures, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, gender identities and expressions, abilities and differing points of view.
We welcome all interested parents, faculty and staff to our meetings and projects are excited to help our school in embrace the beautiful difference and diversity we each bring into the building every day.
The committee maintains a bulletin board in the main hall where we highlight diversity-related activities, holidays, festivals and book lists in a rotating basis. We invite anyone to propose and/or prepare a topic for our board explores diversity that exists within or should be introduced to our school! Do you celebrate a holiday we don’t know about?
