Robot Foundry Virtual Logo
Brooklyn Robot Foundry is offering all of their best classes again this fall, exclusively online. The Foundry’s signature approach to building allows students, 2-13 years old, to learn engineering through hands-on building and creativity. Each week, students build a brand new robot, while being introduced to different engineering concepts and components.

Run4Fun is a non-profit organization. Run4Fun promotes the socio-emotional wellness of youth through the power of running and physical activity, providing a nurturing and inclusive space where young people can grow to their full potential.
The Coding Space Logo
The Coding Space is an after-school and summer program where students learn to tackle challenges independently through learning to code. Our unique Fall 2020 online classes balance screen time with hands-on activities and opportunities to create and explore, even in your own house. Students will learn to code in Scratch or JavaScript, participate in hands-on STEAM-based activities that encourage social interaction and critical and creative thinking, and receive personalized attention through our 4:1 student to teacher ratio.
Brooklyn Game Lab
Brooklyn Game Lab is running *three* Fall Afterschool programs focused on social & strategic gaming (no screens). These programs offer OUTDOOR play and INDOOR gaming as well as ONLINE questing in a variety of combinations. So busy parents and cooped up kids can find a plan that's right for them.
Juguemos a Cantar Spanish Immersion Logo
In person: Children will enjoy outdoor time, play time and daily schedule activities such as recycled art, jewelry, yoga etc. Most of the time will be outdoors and in inclement or extreme weather children will be indoor at our location. Children (and staff) will be required to wear masks at all times except for breaks such as snack breaks, water breaks, etc. VIRTUAL SPANISH CLASSES: We are offering daily Spanish classes starting Sep 14. Classes last 45 min and, depending on the age of the children will include vocabulary building, conversation, arts and crafts and grammar.
TechExplorersBK Logo
TechExploreresBK is available Mondays-Fridays with after school workshops from 2:30pm-5pm. Cost is $300 per month or $1500 full semester (25% Sibling Discount). We pick up from school and walk your child to our center at 302 7th Ave bet. 7th and 8th street. Space is limited as we adhere to social distance guidelines.

CinemaKidz Logo
The Cinemakidz after school program is a hands on maker experience designed to provide children ages 5 - 15, the opportunity to explore film, animation, and media arts. An afternoon with us opens up opportunities to build, create, act, design props, explore storytelling, utilize technology, and most importantly express oneself creatively. Included in our program are the basic tenants of STEM: planning, exploring options, making repairs, and finishing your work, while fostering self-reliance, problem solving, confidence and creativity. Now offering Virtual After School Classes for children throughout the country, as well as small in-person 'n' outdoor play pods in New York City.
Ready Set Chess Logo
We will be offering virtual chess classes, taught remotely over Zoom on our free chess platform. All classes will be small groups, organized by skill level and age. "Remote Days" chess is a weekly 50min class for students who are at home on their "remote" days during the blended learning model, offered to beginners and intermediate players. This will be similar to the classroom program taught in the school in previous years (usually in 2nd and 3rd grade). After school classes will also be taught weekly, with sessions taught at 3pm and 4pm (check the website for the various levels). Lastly, you can contact me directly if you're interested in private, one-on-one lessons for your child.
MakerState Virtual AfterSchool Inventors Club Logo
MakerState’s Virtual Afterschool Inventor’s Club offers weekly after school STEM programming for children ages 6-14. We’ve got live instructors and new projects every session as we’ve created a true virtual makerspace this fall for our budding engineers. Let’s build together with LEGO Virtual Robotics, Rocket Science, TinkerCAD, Minecraft, Scratch by MIT, Roblox and more! Our weekly 50 minute sessions focus on team-building, critical thinking and problem solving through relevant STEM concepts that encourage students to learn in creative ways that extend to life beyond the computer world.

In keeping with BAX’s core commitment to social justice, BAX Youth Education programs foster authentic voice, creativity, collaboration, and provide a positive and nurturing environment for all! BAX offers year-round after school programs and School Breaks Arts Program. For Fall 2020, BAX is offering live zoom classes in dance, drama, tumbling, visual art and early childhood for ages 2-18. Community Building is at the heart of these programs and there are a variety of activities to nurture valuable social exchanges. Fall classes start on September 30th. Tiered tuition rates available!
Brooklyn Seeds Logo
Kids will explore the coolest trees, animals, plants and fungi in and around Prospect Park. Which plants are invasive? Which are crucial for the survival of native Brooklyn animals? Which are edible? When weather permits, we will walk to, learn about and work on some of our local treasures, like the Gowanus Canal and nearby community gardens. Kids will also plant, learn about and bring home houseplants. Kids will get really dirty and they will love it!
