At PS321, we believe that computers (and all related digital equipment, including, but not limited to, digital cameras, Smart boards, LCD [Liquid Crystal Display] Projectors, ELMOS) provide an important and essential avenue for educating our students in the twenty-first century. We want both our teachers and our students to be proficient users of technology – both the tools that we have today and the tools that may be available tomorrow. Because of this belief, we are committed to using the funds given to us by the New York City Department of Education and by our PTA to purchase and maintain digital equipment for the benefit of our entire community. Our computer laboratory contains up-to-date Macintosh computers. We also have desktops in classrooms and laptop and iPad carts that teachers use with students. We have excellent technology support staff. Sara Silver is our computer teacher.

Our School Technology Committee actively seeks ways to promote the use of technology and hosts a Technology Night for the school community. The committee includes teacher technology leaders as well as parents and administrators.
