Thank you to all parents who attended the public forum on the possible split-siting of PS 321. As most of you know, the proposal is to move our Kindergarten and First Grade classes to 763 President Street. Our hope is that we will also be able to open some prekindergarten classes at that site. A final decision on split siting will be made on February 27 by the PEP (Panel for Educational Policy). However, we wanted to let you know that PS 321 IS INCLUDED AS AN OPTION ON THE PREKINDERGARTEN APPLICATION FORM. Zoned siblings have priority, and if you are interested in applying for a prekindergarten spot, we encourage you to do so online before the March 1 deadline. (Because the site is still under construction, we are not allowed to offer tours.) Although at this point we are not guaranteed prekindergarten, it looks very likely and it will not hurt your chances of getting into other programs to preference PS 321.
