This year, applications for Summer Rising will open in MySchools in early March (exact date TBA). The application is not first-come, first-serve, but you must submit your child’s application in MySchools by the deadline (also TBA, but sometime in mid-to-late March). Placements will be announced in April. This year’s SR program will begin July 2 and end for elementary students on August 16. Families can apply to SR at any location, but our school’s affiliated site will again be at PS 32. As in years past, the academic portion of the day will be from 8:00am – 12pm, with enrichment activities provided by CBO’s until 6pm, and busing provided for 8:00am dropoff and 3pm dismissal. Space is limited and no student is guaranteed a seat – all families must apply through MySchools this year, no matter your student’s status.
