5th Grade Activities – T-Shirt, Diploma, Yearbook, and Dues

It is hard to believe that our 5th graders will soon wrap up their time at PS321.

Please complete the following by Friday, April 1st in the form below:

  • Confirm your child’s yearbook, diploma, and t-shirt name
  • Select your child’s t-shirt size
  • Submit your 5th Grade Dues

These dues will be used for the 5th Grade Class Picnic, Chelsea Piers trip and Graduation (see dates below).  Your child will also receive a yearbook, class T-shirt, graduation certificate and perhaps a couple of other trinkets.

Save the Dates!

Camp Mason:

May 17th: 306, 336, 325

May 18th: 301, 337, 339

May 19th: 328, 324

– bus trip to YMCA Camp Mason in Hardwick, NJ. A full day of low ropes courses and other outdoor, team-building events, with lunch on site. Classes leave early in the morning and return in the afternoon, after the school day ends.

There is a separate Permission slip and fee form for this trip that will be sent in April. Partial scholarships will be available.

Service Project: June 7th – This year we are bringing back the 5th Grade Service Project, a PS 321 tradition!  We are planning a park cleanup.  We will meet in the morning at 321, pick up trash around the school, and then head up 3rd street to the park.  More details and sign up information for students and chaperones to follow soon.

Chelsea Piers: June 10- a full school day at the Chelsea Piers Sport Complex, with a variety of activities the kids can choose from.

Prospect Park Field Day: June 17- a half-day picnic lunch and fun for the whole grade in Prospect Park.

Graduation at Congregation Beth Elohim: June 23 – this year, we’re returning to CBE. The whole grade will be able to graduate together!

In an effort to make these activities and keepsakes as affordable as possible, the 5th Grade Activities fee is $90 per student.  In addition, there is an option to make an additional payment to support our scholarship fund to ensure every student participates.

(Note: This process is completely online this year.  If you need alternate accommodations please contact the co-chairs listed below.  If the funds do not leave your account in 3-5 days, please contact the 5th Grade Committee.)

For parents with multiple children in 5th grade – please fill out one form per child.

If you have any questions or if you would like to volunteer on the Fifth Grade Committee, please contact:
