Registration and Tours

March 2026:
For the current school year, we are accepting new students in grades K – 5 who live at an address zoned for our school. Unfortunately we are unable to accept new students who reside outside of our school’s zone. Our Pre-K and 3K seats are full and we do not anticipate making further waitlist offers.

Kindergarten Registration for SY 2026-27:

On March 31, Kindergarten seat offers will be made to all incoming K families who applied by the January deadline in MySchools. There is no need to contact the school at this time. Please accept or decline your child’s offer as soon as possible in MySchools. PS 321 will be contacting families once they’ve accepted their Kindergarten seat.

All NYC students born in 2021 are eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.  Late-arriving Kindergartners who arrive after MySchools‘ January deadline may still apply. Families can place their child on our waitlist in MySchools, and then please notify us so that we can make an offer when a seat is available.

Fall 2026 pre-registration for newly arrived, zoned students in grades 1 -5 will start in late May or June and continue through summer. We will update this page to announce pre-registration for fall, or families can email Parent Coordinator Deb Orr and she will contact you when we’re ready to begin.

We have concluded our in-person tours for this school year; unfortunately we cannot accommodate individual tour requests. If you are a prospective family and would like to view the recording of January’s Virtual Info Session with Principal Liz Phillips, you may request it from Deb Orr – parentcoordinator@ps321.info.

Please know that for 3K admissions, we only have 1 class with 15 seats. All 3K seats will go to in-zone younger siblings of students concurrently enrolled (in K or higher).

We have 3 classes (54 seats) for Pre-K. Over the last two years, we’ve been able to seat all in-zone younger siblings, with room for perhaps 3 or 4 in-zone applicants without siblings.

For Kindergarten admissions (225 seats), all in-zone applicants should receive seat offers, based on past years. In recent years, there have also been a few seats (about a dozen last year) offered to students living out of zone but within District 15.

While we do not expect much to change for Fall 2026 admissions, we can not guarantee future enrollment trends.

However, for families applying to 3K, PreK or Kindergarten for Fall 2026, remember to rank the schools on your child’s MySchools application in TRUE PREFERENCE ORDER. There is no disadvantage in doing so. Just be sure to include your zoned school on your application, in the order you prefer.

For more information and to learn more about how offers are made in 3K/Pre-K and K admissions, please go to the Department of Education website’s Enrollment Page and scroll to “Learn How Children Get Offers.”

For any further questions, please email Parent Coordinator Deb Orr

NEW ARRIVALS/GRADES 1 -5

Spring 2026: If your family is living at an address zoned for our school and you would like to enroll your child at PS 321 for the current school year, please email Parent Coordinator Deb Orr parentcoordinator@ps321.info). To get the registration process started, she will need your child’s name, date of birth, last grade completed and your zoned address.

She will send you a link to our Family Info Form to start the registration process. School forms and a link to upload the required documents (listed below) will be sent after that form is completed; please do not email your documents until you receive an invite to do so.

Registration for new students will be conducted online. If you do not have internet access, please contact Deb for alternate arrangements.

Children can not be fully registered prior to a move; they must currently be in residence at an address zoned for our school. We enroll all zoned students in grades 1 – 5; registration in these grades is not first-come, first served, and we do not have a waitlist for in-zone students in those grades. We can only enroll zoned students at this time. In order to register, families will be required to submit the documents listed below, along with their child’s latest report card (optional but recommended), and IEP (if applicable).

Fall 2026 pre-registration for newly arrived, zoned students in grades 1 -5 will start in late May or June and continue through summer.
