Registration and Tours

PS 321 will be holding a Virtual Info Session with Principal Liz Phillips for Prospective Parents who missed the Prospective Parent tours. This will take place on January 14, 2025 at 5:00pm.

All prospective families are welcome to join. Please sign up HERE so that we may send you the Zoom link closer to the date of the meeting.

We have concluded our in-person tours for this school year; unfortunately we cannot accommodate individual tour requests.

Please note that our 3K and PreK programs have a limited number of seats (15 for 3K, 54 for PreK this year), and will fill in accordance with the DOE’s admissions priorities for zoned schools. For PS 321’s 3K class, we expect that the DOE will fill all seats with applicants from priority group 1. For PreK, we anticipate that the DOE will make seat offers to applicants in priority group 1 and 2,  and perhaps to a few applicants in group 3.

For more information, please go to the Department of Education website and scroll to “Learn How Children Get Offers.”

For any further questions, please email Parent Coordinator Deb Orr

NEW ARRIVALS/GRADES 1 -5

Registration for SY 2025 – 26:

We will be registering new students in Grades 1 – 5 for Fall 2025 enrollment starting in late May or June, date TBA. If your family is living at an address zoned for our school and you wish to have your child attend PS 321 in the fall, you may email Parent Coordinator Deb Orr parentcoordinator@ps321.info) with your child’s name, date of birth and your zoned address. She will follow up once registration opens for new arrivals grades 1 – 5, or you can check for updates on this page.

If you wish to enroll your child for the current school year, contact Deb with your child’s full name, date of birth and your zoned address.  She will send you a link to our Family Info Form to start the registration process. School forms and a link to upload the required documents (listed below) will be sent after that form is completed; please do not email your documents until you receive an invite to do so.

Registration for new students will be conducted online for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school year. If you do not have internet access, please contact Deb for alternate arrangements.

Children can not be registered prior to a move; they must currently be in residence at an address zoned for our school. We enroll all zoned students in grades 1 – 5; registration in these grades is not first-come, first served, and we do not have a waitlist for in-zone students in those grades. We can only enroll zoned students at this time. In order to register, families will be required to submit the documents listed below, along with their child’s latest report card (optional but recommended), and IEP (if applicable).

Documents for Registration, K – 5:

In order to enroll your child, you will need to upload:

  • 2 proofs of address – Con Edison and National Grid utility bills preferred*.
  • Birth Certificate or Passport.
  • Your child’s full immunization records. Go HERE for a list of required immunizations.
  • IEP (if applicable)

(*At least one gas or electric utility bill/welcome letter should be presented. Alternate proofs of address can be a W-2 or payroll receipt dated within the past 60 days, current property tax bill, current water bill, letter from a government agency dated within the past 60 days, co-op/condo papers, insurance, deed, signed lease or mortgage statement.)

For the registration process, we will have an online portal available for families to upload their documents and required forms (please don’t email them straight to us).

Please go to the DOE website’s Enrollment page to learn more about pre-K, K and Grade 1-5 admissions.
