Registration and Tours

September 2025:
We are currently accepting Kindergarten applicants and new students in grades 1 – 5 who live at an address zoned for our school. Our Pre-K and 3K seats are full and we do not anticipate making any further waitlist offers.

While we cannot accommodate individual tour requests, we will be hosting two Fall tours for 2025 at our Lower School:

Wednesday, November 19 at 5:00pm
Thursday, December 4 at 5:00pm

These are come-one, come-all; no need to RSVP. Adults only, please. Dates may be subject to change, please check our Calendar Page for more info.

Please note that our 3K and PreK programs have a limited number of seats (15 for 3K, 54 for PreK), and will fill in accordance with the DOE’s admissions priorities for zoned schools. For PS 321’s 3K class, the DOE will fill all 15 seats with applicants from priority group 1. For PreK‘s 54 seats, the DOE has made main round seat offers to applicants in priority group 1 and 2,  and in the past two years, to a few applicants in group 3. For Kindergarten, with 225 seats, Enrollment has typically been able to make offers to all students in groups 1 and 2 who applied by the MySchools deadline. In recent years, seat offers have also been made to all students in priority groups 3 and 4, as well as a few in group 7. Please keep in mind that we can not guarantee future enrollment trends.

For more information and to learn more about priority groups in admissions, please go to the Department of Education website, choose your enrollment cycle and scroll to “Learn How Children Get Offers.”

NEW ARRIVALS/GRADES 1 -5

Registration for SY 2025 – 26:

Fall 2025: If your family is living at an address zoned for our school and you would like to enroll your child at PS 321, please email Parent Coordinator Deb Orr parentcoordinator@ps321.info).  To get the registration process started, she will need your child’s name, date of birth, last grade completed and your zoned address.

She will send you a link to our Family Info Form to start the registration process. School forms and a link to upload the required documents (listed below) will be sent after that form is completed; please do not email your documents until you receive an invite to do so.

Registration for new students will be conducted online. If you do not have internet access, please contact Deb for alternate arrangements.

Children can not be fully registered prior to a move; they must currently be in residence at an address zoned for our school. We enroll all zoned students in grades 1 – 5; registration in these grades is not first-come, first served, and we do not have a waitlist for in-zone students in those grades. We can only enroll zoned students at this time. In order to register, families will be required to submit the documents listed below, along with their child’s latest report card (optional but recommended), and IEP (if applicable).

Documents for Registration, K – 5:

In order to enroll your child, you will need to upload:

  • 2 proofs of address – Con Edison and National Grid utility bills preferred*.
  • Birth Certificate or Passport.
  • Your child’s full immunization records. Go HERE for a list of required immunizations.
  • IEP (if applicable)

(*At least one gas or electric utility bill/welcome letter should be presented. Alternate proofs of address can be a W-2 or payroll receipt dated within the past 60 days, current property tax bill, current water bill, letter from a government agency dated within the past 60 days, co-op/condo papers, insurance, deed, signed and executed lease or mortgage statement. Under certain circumstances, additional proofs of address may be requested.)

For the registration process, we will have an online portal available for families to upload their documents and required forms (please don’t email them straight to us).

Please go to the DOE website’s Enrollment page to learn more about pre-K, K and Grade 1-5 admissions.
