Please read statements of intent from our School Leadership Team (SLT) candidates for the 2026/27 school year.
Brooke Holiday
My name is Brooke Holiday, and I’m the parent of two children at PS 321 – Lenora-Lee (4th grade) and Benjamin (Kindergarten). Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how much care, coordination, and collaboration it takes to run a school as large and vibrant as ours. I’m running for the School Leadership Team to support that work and help ensure that family voices continue to be included in the conversations that shape our school’s future.
Jamie Lynn Meister
I’m Jamie Meister, and I’m proud to put my name forward for the SLT. My daughter Azara is a Kindergartner at the lower school, and from the moment we joined the PS 321 community, I knew I wanted to help build something extraordinary here.
Over a 21+ year career, I’ve led projects, shaped communication strategies, and united teams around shared goals – in Executive Communications, Project Management, Strategic Enablement, and Collaborative Storytelling. I know how to move people and initiatives forward, articulate a vision that inspires action, and build trust across diverse groups. A current SLT member encouraged me to run, an endorsement I take seriously and with real pride.
Since August, I’ve been an active PTA volunteer and co-chair – and the past 10 months have been more fulfilling than I can even put into words. I’m eager to build on that foundation in service of every family at PS 321.
I’m running because I want to make a meaningful difference, and I’m ready to bring both my professional experience and personal investment to every decision and initiative we take on together. It would be an honor to earn your vote and your trust. Thanks for your time and consideration!
Maddie Garber
Hi, my name is Maddie and I’m the parent of a rising second grader and pre-k’er.
For the past two years, I have been an active member of our amazing school community. I am currently the PTA Officer responsible for writing the Tuesday Bulletin each week, a Gala co-chair, and a Class Liaison. I also head up the Graphics committee that’s behind all of the posters you see hung on fences outside the school.
These roles, plus countless hours spent volunteering at different events, have helped me develop a deep understanding of the issues that are important to both parents and staff, and an appreciation for the immense amount of work it takes for a school like ours to run and thrive. I feel so grateful to be surrounded by so many people who show up and pitch in despite their crazy busy lives.
With a background in marketing and copywriting, and a desire to always keep the peace and help people find common ground, I think I would bring a creative and collaborative mindset to the School Leadership Team. Thank you!
Jackie Park
My name is Jackie Park, and I am excited to submit my letter of intent to serve on the School Leadership Team at PS 321 William Penn.
As a mother of two children and the COO of Red Rabbit, I care deeply about building strong and inclusive communities where children can thrive. Both professionally and personally, I have dedicated my career to supporting schools, families, and students through collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to equity and excellence.
At Red Rabbit, the largest black-owned school food management company in the country, I oversee operations across New York, NJ, Pennsylvania, and DC. My work requires balancing mission, operational execution, relationship-building, and problem-solving — all while keeping the student experience at the center of every decision. These skills would allow me to contribute meaningfully to the School Leadership Team.
As a parent of both a current Kindergartener (Eliza) and 2nd Grader (Kai) at PS 321, as well as a current Class Liaison, I value the school’s strong sense of community. I would welcome the opportunity to support the school’s continued growth by listening to families, partnering with teachers and administration, and helping to ensure voices are represented in important conversations about the school’s future.
I approach leadership with empathy, transparency, and a collaborative mindset. I believe the strongest school communities are built when parents, educators, and administrators work together with mutual respect and shared purpose.
Thank you for considering my candidacy. I would be honored to serve the PS 321 community as a member of the School Leadership Team.
