Summer Rising 2024

Applications for Summer Rising are now open in MySchools. The application is not first-come, first-serve, but you must submit your child’s application in MySchools by the deadline of March 25. Placements will be announced in April. This year’s SR program will begin July 2 and end for elementary students on August 16. Families can apply to SR at any location, but our school’s affiliated site will again be at PS 32. As in years past, the academic portion of the day will be from 8:00am – 12pm, with afternoon enrichment activities provided by CBO’s until 6pm, and busing provided for 8:00am dropoff and 3pm dismissal. Space is limited and no student is guaranteed a seat – all families must apply through MySchools this year, no matter your student’s status. Parents of 5th graders, Kindergartners, and some others will already have their child linked to their MySchools account and can log in to apply. If you can not access your student in MySchools, email parent coordinator Deb Orr for an account creation letter.
